Founding editor and creative director of seminal youth culture magazine, RWD. The title launched in 2000 with a mission to document and champion UK youth culture, most notably grime music, which was in its infancy at the time. Over a 14 year period, the magazine evolved into a multi- faceted home of creativity through print, film, an animated TV series for MTV and Channel U, a web portal, social media and events. In the process, the brand helped to push the culture and many of its pioneers to a global audience.
With Bracey at the creative helm, RWD evolved into an agency, offering brands authentic ways to interact with and champion street culture. Specialising in brand partnerships with music artists, working on large scale events, multi-channel campaigns and marketing strategy for many of the leading brands.
In 2014, Bracey left to start a new venture, launching a menswear brand in the United States and then globally. The brand quickly rose to prominence with striking designs, attention grabbing visuals and relationships with high profile music artist . Combining these assets with a motivated sales force, the team rapidly grew the brand to 500+ doors including Harvey Nichols, Lids and Footlocker, before selling the business in 2017.
Dacre is currently focussed on creative direction, cultural authenticity, strategy and marketing for some of the biggest names in fashion, music and sports. He also mentors in schools, HM Young Offenders institutes and colleges.
